Is it just me or there's something wrong with it....

Has it ever happened to you that you tuned into a news channel and all that you can hear is utter non-sense!!

For example, you switch to some news channel and for last 24 hours that channel is covering some fallen actress going to Rehab or something....or worse ...showing the pics and videos of a hooker for her involvement in a political scandal....and then you think..I just saw it on E! News (or VH1)...isn't it their territory??
Further, every other news channel is covering how mankind will habitat on Mars in 21st century... while the scientific community still can't get a manned mission to mars working, forget building habitat for future immigrants....and not to mention...we can't control our own civilization on this planet quite well and are talking about acquiring other planets..

Then, there are so called analysts who are so confident that they will buy Hell at the price of earth! Imagine a person, who in his whole life couldn't make money because of his incapacity and probably that's why he is still a TV analyst, is giving lecture to everyone concerned about how to make money??
I mean if it was for Bill Gates or Warren Buffet, I would listen to it ...heck I will take a sick leave, go home and note down few points...
but have you ever wondered taking an economic advice from your maid?
So is it that when a suit-clad tied person talks economics, our perception changes and we assume he knows his stuff.. regardless of what he achieved in his life??

When someone applies for a job of Teacher, the least requirement is he/she should have finished the course that he/she is about to teach...so isn't it binding on the analysts, too??
It is like taking a political advice for Presidential Campaign from a person who couldn't get elected in a town council in one-member race!!!

or For that matter,
To all the sports-fan like me, how sickening is it, when a retired high school basketball/football player comments on Lebron's/ Kobe's technique OR has a advice for Brady/Manning....

(For those of you, who think Cricket is still the most popular sport in the world.....how do you feel when L.Sivaramakrisna talks about flaws in Warne's style or Saba Karim talking about what Tendulkar should do in future to get more runs)

Imagine a bathroom singer like me giving advice to Metallica/Pink Floyd or Beatles about music compositions or trying to give singing lessons to Kishore Kumar or Lata Mangeshkar...

That's the reason why you need BLOGGA.......

When there was a writer's strike in Hollywood, and as Bill Maher couldn't continue his segment of NEW RULES, he started a new segment called BLOGGA.. PLEASE.. realizing the fact that he doesn't have the talent to come up with New Rules, and doing the rational thing....may be it's time for the news media to do the same, and since it is evident that they don't have enough sensible material to go on air for even half-an-hour, they should have BLOGGA..PLEASE..for 24 hours a day....

So that finally, people like me who enjoy news, sports will have a good time watching it!!!

The Big Bang and Me

I am quite fascinated with the whole idea of origin and the end of the universe!

The hindu tradition says that the Universe starts and ends with OM...."it is the beginning and the end"..It has been said that if you can pronounce OM in a particular way then you would realize how the universe began and how it is going to end! If you actually pronounce it the way it is written in the vedas...then you would realize that the beginning is very dramatic...instant/fast...while the mid part is fast ....the end is really really slow..

So what does all of that has to do with the Big Bang!!! Well here is something that is really fascinating with Big Bang theory..

So, first of all for people like me...(non-physicist) ..Big Bang theory is supposedly the well-accepted theory to explain the beginning of the Universe..and this is what it says about the universe.

"The universe started from nothing, there was suddenly a huge huge huge explosion such that you can not imagine...and then there was a period of rapid expansion and so on....and the universe is still expanding..etc etc..."

This is my problem with Big Bang!!

How the F*** can everything come out of singularity??
I can understand few particles being created from energy!!!....I can never imagine the whole universe getting created out of SINGULARITY??

Alright, so if everything came out of singularity and there was so much energy at the beginning?? where did that energy came into being?? Also, there are so many problems with the Big Bang.. it does not answer so many questions like how the hell the temperature throughout the universe is almost the same...then they came up with a new theory...something called as "Inflation"...everyone understands what inflation means...

but this is what you can never understand:
After the big bang..within 10 ^ (-37) second there was a process of inflation..wherein all of the initial universe got inflated so the temperature throughout the inflated universe was almost constant ...and then there was rapid expansion...

you get baffled with all that the physicists have to say .....
but most of the times they talk something which is beyond common sense...even the most brilliant minds of the world sometimes do or say certain things which do not make sense at all!!!

this is preposterous!!!

First of all...
What is the proof??

just because you can extrapolate theory of relativity and then reach to state of singularity does not mean thats the answer !!!!

There are so many things which are going against the theory!! I mean how can you suddenly say...."please just for this time....only this time.....all the laws of physics that we have written are not valid....only this time ...please....dont mind even if that is the creation of ours!!!"

Also ...there is another theory called string theory....do not want to go into the details...

the string theory says that universe is like a loaf of bread and all these slices are the parallel universes ..separated by a distance...not even one millimeter in length.....in like n dimensions and when two parallel ..universes collide then it is like the big bang and thats what caused everything....and that we are living in one of those universes....

But here is the problem...

That still does not explain the beginning of the universe??

Now here is my problem!!!

If I follow Big Bang Theory....
The thing it is trying to explain is not explained at all:
"This theory is trying to explain how the universe came into being ...in a scientific manner...First of all it does not explain in the accepted scientific manner, secondly it also does not explain where the whole energy of the early universe (the singularity) ..came from??"

If I Follow String theory:
Even if I accept I am living in a slice of the entire universe ....still that does not explain where the whole loaf came from??

Although somehow I have problems in accepting the creation of Universe by God...

alas...I dont think I have an answer for the time being ..to debate with my religious friends!!!

Unless:

We are nothing but some experimental animals living in a zoo......created by a really really super powered Alien civilization...
and all that we see/do/understand/explain/hypothesize ....etc etc....
is nothing but a mirage and the inputs that we get from the outer space is nothing but ....some maze created by this advanced civilization!!

Now you may ask...how the F*** we can get confused between a light coming from this star and that constellation......etc etc....

Bombay Falling.......

With the greatest sorrow I write this blog. I have no words to express my anger, my frustration for the government, and I am short of words for the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. I am sorry for all those who lost their loved one's. My heartfelt condolences.

This is the time to forget about the political lineage, forget caste, religion, region and to unite to fight against TERROR, which has no religion, no face and SHOULD HAVE NO PLACE on earth!!!!

Rather than offering 1 crore to the martyrs, it would be better to offer bulletproof vests to those who are alive, instead of asking for replacement of CM, Home Minister, it will be better if we can investigate the matter quickly, and make sure this kind of horrible incidence never takes place again. Indian PM, Defence Minister are spending invaluable time in their stupid polity meeting discussing the successor of CM Deshmukh, when they should be holding executive meeting with IB, NSG, NAVY, ARMY to secure borders and to chart out future plan of action.

Of all the things that happened on that dreaded day in Bombay, one thing that stands out the most is the lack of leaderhip!!! The worst yet is the arrival of NSG almost 8 hours after the attack started. If you don't have a NSG battalion in the Financial Capital of India, you better not call it NSG. Wonder what would happen, if unfortunately this kind of incident takes place in a remote tier 2 city/town in India, I guess the NSG would reach there after the locals take care of the business...

And there is something called as Rapid Action Force (RAF), if the RAF reaches at the incidence after 4 hours, why to call it RAF? a total lack of communication, if you have the videos of the terrorists shooting randomly at CST, where were the Police and Army on the surveillance of the CST? what were they doing? and how can someone enter your marine water from international territory without getting checked even once...is this a joke of some sort?? do we call that as security?

And seriously, if the terrorists as shown in the videos are walking on the streets with AK47's, in fact they hijacked a police van, WHAT NOW???

How on earth you can hijack a police van??? That shows the ill-preparedness of the Bombay Police. I mean if you look at these people, they are not fit to run a 50 m race, forget running a 10 km marathon and all...

I mean how in the hell, you call that the terrorists were well planned and we were not prepared. What kind of non-sense is that? DO you guys get paid to make these kinds of stupid irrational, irresponsible, illogical statement?? by looking at the response of the Indian security forces, the inhuman terrorist groups would have been enjoying the media coverage.

What kind of message do you send to the world, when you can't finish up one terrorist!! Supposedly the terrorists knew the interiors of Taj Hotel and all, so what, you had all the resources in the world, you could have got everyone involved and figured out plan to corner the terrorist, but no!!! SIXTY HOURS!!!!! Although, I understand there is always a danger to the life of hostages, however I still can't get that it takes SIXTY hours to finish off 1-2 terrorist. What were the forces doing? there seemed to be no plan at all....

Don't they have any operational drill or something, to exercise tactics, implement rescue strategies. Or do they just sit on their ass doing nothing, waiting for orders from politicians??

If anyone has seen any of the rescue videos, people coming out of the Taj Hotel were not even being offered a bottle of water, forget about being asked about first aid and all. One of the survivor, who was interviewed by media, had his face covered in smoke, showing a clear absence of any medical team whatsoever working with the rescue mission!!!!

IT WAS TOTAL CHAOS!!!!

Even the twelfth grade students could have run a better government than this!!!

Even the media seemed to be more interested in asking their stupid questions to the Taj survivors rather than giving them comfort and some breathing space. Some of the videos were so disturbing, and disgraceful, that I thought the media should have better been driven off from the place!!!

Imagine you are a Taj survivor, you are rescued by the firefighters from a smoke-filled hotel after six hours, and you come out and forget about water, juice, first aid, medical attention, or even fresh air.... the first thing you hear is a stupid question from a reporter..."What do you think the impact of this would be on Happy-go-Lucky Bombayiite" ....

Seriously, is that what you want to know from a survivor???

Do these guys even go through a training for journalism, or they just get randomly picked from a pool of English speaking nut jobs???

Where on earth these politicians even have the courage to say, standing next to 100s of victims, that these kind of incidents do happen in big cities, and the government stopped terrorists from killing 50,000 people, so people should thank the government. WTF???

If that's what they think, I don't see any reason why they should even be there in India, forget being deputy CM, rather than taking a moral responsibility, that jackass is saying we should pat on his back for saving our life!!! .....and don't give a crap about those who lost theirs....

India, home to 1.2 Billion people, suffers from worst kind of terrorism possible. In the last four years itself, there were over 25,000 terrorism incidents and more than 11,000 deaths [TOI]. It is not only shocking, it is pitiful. I am sorry to say this, but that shows the sheer callousness of the polity for citizens' life.

There is a lot to say and lot to do..till then...

The idea that a black man will lead the world's most powerful nation, is still sinking in. I can not imagine the reaction of people in the continent of Africa, who are always disenfranchised of their rights and their fare share by someone or other, seeing the dawn of a new leadership in the United States, sharing the same color of skin as they have. All those people who faced discrimination because of their skin color, will no longer hope for better future, but are promised one!!!

It is beyond my imagination, the reaction of an African-American who was a foot-soldier in the civil rights movement, to see a black man becoming the President of the United States. It is just phenomenal. It has not been even half a century since the African Americans were considered equal and were allowed to vote. Just after 143 years since the slavery ended. And, here we are to see Barack Obama as President of US. Even in his "I have a dream" speech, Martin Luther King Jr, in front of a huge crowd, expected everyone else to acknowledge that, "all men are created equal". Today, people have gone way beyond acknowledging equality, to see beyond skin color.

Sometimes, it feels just great to be a part of history.

Wonder, when women finally got to vote in US, when blacks were no longer slaves, when the civil rights movement gave African Americans the right to vote, when the people of India got independence, when the apartheid regime in south Africa finally ended, when the Nazi regime was defeated, the generation witnessed it must have cherished it till death!!!

It just goes on to emphasize the power of democracy, the idea that it is the government of the people for the people and by the people. The philosophy that no vote is less important than the other, every vote counts. The power everyone has, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, to express their opinion in the democratic process.

No doubt that this does not put an end to rampant racism across globe. At the same time, once again the US has shown the world a ray of hope!!!!!!

Finally, it is important to mention that, almost everything in the world comes about by better education. For example, the number of college educated voters went for Obama 54-45, similar to overall vote 52-47. Not to mention the overall literacy rate in US is more than 99%. Nelson Mandela by education is an Attorney, Mahatma Gandhi, an attorney, Martin Luther King Jr had a Doctorate of Philosophy.

I wish the same opportunities of education will become available in the terrorism -hit areas in the world, so that once and for all those people will also see the light, and will stop their violence and will allow democracy to prosper.

PhD in a Day...or Billionaire in a minute!!!

Yeah I know, sounds crazy isn’t it …but guess what, how about becoming the world’s richest person in a day, or why a day ..how about in a minute?

No no, I haven’t gone crazy, the world of Physics research, rather those crazy-ass Physicists who think that Time Travel is possible have just blown my mind. Then I started thinking, how about finishing my PhD and be a Billionaire in a day and then just go to Jamaica or Barbados or may be Malibu and chill out for rest of the life ..sit on my ass for the whole day for the rest of my life with Heineken in one hand and a hot babe on the other!!

Sounds like a dream, no shit man!

Imagine, I go to future, work there for a year, and email back all those files and research results and then take a vacation for a month or two and again do the same thing, so after all is done, I come back to the past ......oops present and then I have enough data to defend and get a PhD!!! Better yet steal someone’s thesis from future and publish as my own work!!!!

Similarly I can go to future, earn a hell lot of money by hook or crook, and then come back to present and that’s it I am a billionaire….or go to past..buy some stocks of apple and Microsoft and sell them during dot com boom....

And to all those gals out there ..guess what I am about to give you the Age-Defying medicine of all!!!! So how is that possible?? Well at the end of the day, you just travel back in time and that’s it you will never get old….you will always be only 18…man that would be the best time and place to live…every girl on planet is 18…WOW!!!!

The shit doesn’t stop here, you see you can do everything you want, legal illegal, moral, immoral, or whatever, and then just turn the switch and that’s it you are back to normal….and you know what ..if you find you are pregnant/ur girlfriend is pregnant…..and follow in the ideology of No Abortion…..WE SAY YES….just travel back in time…and wear a condom!!!

You know you can write your exam paper, just to see the questions, and then travel back in time ..and crack the exam….well boy you can be the first in the school….

Imagine you have the best tip in the stock market, you can make a killing….and well of course you can avoid losing money in stocks like AIG, Lehman, and the likes…Not only that, you can also go to vegas and bet on every damn sport you can…hey you know the results from future anyway, right??

Imagine, if you could go back to 1950s and tell Pt Jawaharlal Nehru, then PM of India, that you know what aligning with Russia might not be a good idea and so why not side with US? And that the whole non-alignment movement is kind of Shelter for Homeless rather than a third world power!!!

Moving still back in time, if you could tell the Indian Kings that there might be some Foreigners coming to India in the name of trade and they might rule you later on.... so be careful….and stop producing children in hundreds and having wives in dozens and give them lessons of “family planning”

Or may be you could go to Africa and tell the people over there that the foreigners might come and make you slaves in future so be prepared….and teach them the “civil rights movement” lessons!!

And for heaven’s sake….. if someone can please travel back in time and tell it to the people in ancient Egypt, to please leave an explanation of how they constructed Pyramids, so that once and for all …the Discovery Channel would stop showing their Bull shit about the Pyramid Discovery!!!

Or may be if some one can go to the romans and tell them the system of senators and fair politics is really screwing the whole future, cause people are not wise and politics is not fair, and because we people of future don’t have any brains to come up with a new system….so if you may, why don’t you discover a new system of governance so that we jerks from future can continue following that…..

And for humanity’s sake….can someone please go back in time and start collecting the samples of evolution in animals, so that all the bullshit, baloney about the creationism….oops my bad its called as Intelligent Design now …(ID my foot!!!!) can be thrown into the garbage once and for all…….

Not only that, you can even go back in time and meet Jesus, you know the son of God!! and ask him did he really meant what is written in Bible?? or if the Bible is just someone else's idea...and how he survived without a girlfriend or a wife? and tell him if he can change that ...so that no pastor in Christianity would have to abstain from sex or masturbation and so there would be less number of child molestation cases....I know he is quite knowledgeable and sensible, he would make the necessary changes in his life....

I am Back

During the last few days, I was kind of in an introspection mode. I was wondering whether it really matters what one person says in a world of 6 billion people, and how is it that my blog which probably is followed by hardly anyone is going to change the world?

Then I realized that it is not about changing the world, it is not about doing the right things all the time, and not about criticizing everyone all the time. What matters the most is the fact that, we all as a person have a unique identity and everyone should use one or the other medium to express their opinion, anger, happiness, excitement and of course the sheer frustration over INSANITY!!!

So, after a gap of about 4 months, I am back and with a promise that everytime I pen down (oops..type down) something, it would be something which would really matter the most to me and if someone else find it offensive, outright false ..well they should resort to the same approach like mine, start blogging ..or may be start reading about the subject and come up with a logical, fact-backed reply, rather than outright phony lies or sticking with an age old philosophy or something absurd of that sort.

Having said that, I would also want to do something different this time, which I might have avoided for a long time, rather than just criticizing or commenting on someone else, I might go into the depth of the matter and start outlining the solutions for the same. And of course, I might resort to be somewhat acerbic tone, which is characteristic of mine, however, the world has gone beyond the politeness of Queen's English, and now in this century, I doubt if people are polite enough to respect others' opinions, not to mention no one really cares about the plight of the others, who can not read this blog cause they don't have the means to get their basic needs satisfied.

Ultimately, so why is it that, every person's opinion counts??

If you want the real answer then go to history and then you would realize, why it has always been one individual or a small group of individuals who changed the course of the world!!

Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr, Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, and the likes.

Whereas on the other hand, there were individuals or groups who also contributed to this world, probably in the worst possible way..

Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, czars of Russia, Mughals in India, etc etc..


It is in this regard, that every opinion counts as in democracy every vote counts. A person rich or poor, Einstein or an illiterate redneck, President or the convict, everyone has only one vote to cast and has the same value as the other.


In a similar fashion, every opinion counts, whether it is that of a Nobel Laurette or that of mine!!!

IPL - - - - Indian Plagiarized League

.....and GOD said Aa Ha!!!!

I always thought that plagiarism can never enter Sports. I mean come on for heaven's sake how can you say that a particular player has copied the other..you can't even fight against it !!! ....

But, as the Lord may have it .... finally there is plagiarism in sports ...and that is too obvious to ignore.. still not convinced ..and by the way did you think I was referring to the LORD as in the so called Almighty, or may be HE or if you may the Creator ..the Omnipresent etc etc ....

HELL NO!!!......here I am talking about the BCCI chief Sharad Pawar ..as he is the person who literally can do anything with the cricket as he may please..and of course the sport in question is Cricket!!

Let me say something about Cricket first, so that those of you who don't understand the sport may have brief idea about the sport and then of course the die hard fans will have a history lesson!!

Cricket, in ancient times was mainly played by the British, and later on was imbibed by the British colonies, regardless of their own national sports, if such thing ever existed. However, one more point to be noted here, that England never won a Cricket World Cup!!!

Now coming to the real point here, Cricket as a sport was started by the British when they were settled in their colonies outside England and of course they had nothing to do, as they had slaves, and as far as administration part is concerned well they were smart enough to train and hire the local talent for Donkey Work..(not to mention many Indians still take pride of the then ICS (Indian Civil Service) ..which was nothing but to select donkeys for carrying out the load ..and count the number of dead freedom fighters!!!)....so anyhow,

British, when they had nothing to do after the weekend "Balls (public or private)", so one of the genius came up with an idea of a game which will last for FIVE days ....yes GODDAMN IT ....YOU READ IT RIGHT ....FIVE DAYS ........
so this is what the game was ....you start on Monday, you keep on playing till Friday...yeah anyway who cares for the result...and mind you there were no diet pills ..so the men had to sweat hard to reduce the tummy ..after all they were running a country!!! ..(did I say running or RUINING)...

So anyway, you play on the weekdays, then you enjoy on the weekends and the story goes on .....
and yes this time the real GOD said ..Aa Ha....when all countries got freedom, that finally HE doesn't have to go through this terrible ordeal for five days, which most of the times, statistically speaking more than 75% of the time results in ...NO RESULT , a DRAW ..a TIE ....you GOT IT PAL...you play for five days for nothing!!!!

So that's the sport ...

Now, the IPL .. well its a very ...very ..very ..very ..very ...shorter version of the same sport ..which gets finished up within 3 hours and with 100% probability of a result!!!!

So why am I saying its Plagiarism?....

Its in the name stupid ..ever heard of English Premier League!!! ..
ever heard of cheerleaders at the NBA or NFL ...
ever heard of franchise auctions and players auction...as in NBA or NFL Draft!!!
ever heard of Home games and away games....
ever heard of ....well the list goes on and on ....and I don't want to drag....

but .....

ever heard of MANORANJAN KA BAAP.......now that my friend is called as CREATIVITY!!!!!
